Kodak Photography book?
Mar 19, 2013

Some-one recently mentioned a Kodak Photography book, maybe now out of print, that could be helpful to people who were anxious to learn about photographic composition. I'm one who is anxious to learn etc but now I can't find the reference to Mr Kodak's book so I can't search for a copy to read and learn from it.

I pay close attention to many of the "comment and criticize" discussions and understand some of it. What baffles me is how one can learn to "see" a picture in, for example, city buildings, roof lines, etc. I look at a photo posted here that receives generally favorable comments but can't imagine why the photographer decided there was a picture there. I may find that I'm really blind to the existence of "pictures" but I'd like to see whether the Kodak book can give me a shove in the right direction, so if anyone can suggest what it might have been, I'd be very grateful.
