Re: MAC users, Aperture 3 or Lightroom 4?

I used Aperture until Dec. when I bought an RX1. Aperture didn't support RAW and Lightroom did, so I switched. Now they both have support for RX1 and I no longer have the RX1 (mine had a defect and I decided against getting another). But I am sticking with LR4 over Aperture. I think Aperture has a few features I miss (e.g., better skim smoothing, deleting SDHC card after successful import, more intuitive interface and workflow), but I'd miss more from LR if I switched back (e.g., better noise reduction, faster overall - really faster, clarity slider is sweet, and more). I do expect an upgrade to Aperture soon because it's long overdue, but my recommendation right now would be LR.
