On my small 14" laptop screen, if I view the middle sunflower 1:1 there seems to be a very slight appearance of vertical lines in some areas of the middle of the sunflower. Not sure if this is due to the absence of AA filter.

Could you crop and post here where you are seeing it? I see some light overall pattern that looks more a general jpeg conversion issue, not really what the typical banding is, related to sensor reading problems.

Thanks for the great job.

Hi Renato. For the way I view my shots, it's not an issue. But FWIW here is what I'm referring to

If you look closely there seem to be fine vertical lines. I don't think it's a JPEG conversion issue because I see it even with the raw file.

Best regards,

Mic

How did you "see" them in RAW? If you are looking at a visual image, then that's not RAW anymore, it's already a jpeg version, thus compressed and dependent on the converter. You can do a RAW analysis though. If you did that, please post your findings, I'm really interested. If you can send me the RAW file, I can do a RAW analysis using RAWDigger.
