Do you remember this camera? Would you want an upgraded version?

Does anyone remember this camera? The Panasonic DMC-LC1? How I wish Panasonic brings this back.   It has a Leica counterpart called Digilux 2. In my opinion, these 2 camera were ahead of their time when they were first introduced. I bet that this camera will still outperform some of the new camera to date. Just the lens alone on this system is VERY sharp. I know a guy that have the Leica version, still using it and still printing 11" x 14" with crystal clear clarity. Trying to look one on ebay (either the Pana or Leica version) in good condition just to play with.

Hope they bring this back.
