Why do you need 36MP?

I don't require a 36 mp camera for my type and style of photography.  To expect an image to look good at a 100% crop of a distant animal is not going to happen often because of the size of the focus sensors among many other variables.  Everything has to be right including focus accuracy and quality of lens.
