Plugging away with my D300

With so much excitement about the D7100, I spent the day with birds and my Tamron 200-500.  Didn't feel like reading up on the D7100 as my D300 is serving me quite well and I am in no rush to upgrade (or downgrade to a slower camera with a smaller buffer lacking external controls).

ISO 1600 still looks pretty good to me...



I can still catch my feather detail



Even at a 1/40th sec can catch a nuthatch..
