I want to start a photographic project comparing old post cards of views in my town with how the view looks now.
I will be comparing against old post cards from 1900 - 1950
How long does copyright last, if I scan the postcards for inclusion next to my modern views will there be any issues? These won't be sold, just put on a website.
I want to reproduce the image as close to the original as possible i.e. same focal length, without using a zoom what would have been the most likely focal length used in those days?
