It is true, but with f/2.8 you do not need to use ISO 800 very often. And sharp lens is crucial for the result, especially with such a small sensor.

These are daytime cameras only so the f2.8 is not as important as you make out. Frankly I would not shoot any of them above base ISO. If the light falls, you need a big sensor. The F2.8 only gives you another 10 or 15 minutes in falling light conditions.

Thats why I would rather have the sharper FZ150.
