The difference in sensor size does not make anywhere near as much difference IMO as the ability to keep shooting at lower ISO's much more of the time.

If I was looking for an advanced compact I would go first to the X20, but if I wanted a superzoom the FZ200 would be my choice. Others prefer the Fuji or Canon or whatever and that's AOK with me.
