Sony Mavica FD-90 review
I've taken over 15,000 hi-res photos with this camera and it was broken in my carry on luggage on the airplane! It has suburb imaging of the top 15% of the tonal range and great zoom and macro. The flash extended to 20 feet and when I needed a fill flash I could force it. Pretty good for a light camera. I had to write my own VB software to put the time and date stamp in the filename. IF Ch Conley STILLS WANTS TO SELL HIS CAMERA CONTACT ME AT MACMARK@COMCAST.NET PLEASE!
After about 10K photos the dang thing would mis-write the #1 position or #5 position photo and it would be undreadable. 4 out of 5 times I would copy the disk then my camera could read it. As the camera aged I found the A: drive which would format the disks most reliably among my oldest computers! As far as operating the camera, its features are not problems, just, well, features! No fast photos with a 10-15 second turn around time, eh?
