I've had the camera since July 2002 and its excellent, many people comment about poor battery life but with this not being my first digital camera it really is NOT the big deal people make it out to be.
The point to realise is that walking around not taking shots with the camera in record mode is not how you use a digital camera. At my sister's wedding I must have taken 120 shots and I didn't even need my spare rechargeables I had in my pocket all day. The key to this is that I was probably in record mode for less than 120 seconds.
Something I don't understand is why the camera was seemingly discontinued by Olympus in UK so soon. I'm guessing its because everyone other than me seems to want an optical zoom.
No case supplied, Dixons do a very nice and small Canon one for £4.99 though.
Software - stamp on the CD hard before throwing it in the bin and use Explorer and Paint Shop Pro.
