Pentax Optio 43WR review

Well they said it was good for 30 minutes in water and I tested it. We rafted for 12 days in the Yukon, BC, Alaska and it survived all the silt, rain and rough water. On one day, it spent 15 minutes floating in a pocket of water before I discovered it. Still works great. This camera is amazing. Fits into pockets, great for kayaking, rowing, or rafting. It's simple set up makes it extremely easy to use. It's size means it goes everywhere and I can strap it to the font of my backpack for quick pics. Distance or close up, the detail is great and the colours very true. If your into the outdoors, I can't think of a better camera.

Problems:

If you're going for a long trip, forget the recharables and go with Lithium AA. A package of four outlasted 12 days of rafting and 4 days of mountain climbing.
