Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX7 review
Better pictures than my highly-competant Yashica T4/Zeiss formula
lens film point-and-shoot, and significantly more portable. Large
LCD with big menu items makes things easier for my aging eyes (I
have to remove my glasses to read menu items on many other
brands). Being able to conserve battery life by shutting down the
LCD and using a viewfinder would be irrelevant for me -- again --
because of the eyeglass removal issue. "Regular" mode is as easy
to use as "Beginner" mode, with much better results because you
can adjust the white level and flash. For storage, I use a 1GB high-
speed card (why carry extras?). Lumix fits perfectly into the stylish
iPod/Accessory case ($20) from Timbuk2. Very hip.
Short battery life -- you definitely need a second battery.
