Konica Minolta DiMAGE X1 review

Just bought a demo on eBay at a bargain price, and I love it. 8MP in a compact design with an optical antishake mechanism - no other camera by any maker has an equally featured product at this price at the present time. It starts and snaps instantly - No shutter lag, as other reviewers have mentioned - may be because it has a newer, upgraded Firmware (version 1.10). DiMage X1 has accepted high speed 2GB SD card, and I was able to buy spare batteries online easily. It even came with a cradle. And last but not the least, this camera works with widely available Kodak Easyshare program which you can download for free.

Problems:

Too cute.
Sluggish focus in the dark, like many other point & shoot cameras.
Konica Minolta isn't in the camera business anymore, and the Sony service stinks.
