Casio Exilim EX-P505 review
Sep 25, 2007

I've used this camera for two years now, and it's become my primary vacation camera. It mates well with a Raynox pro wide-angle converter via the 43 mm lens threads, which does create some flash problems that can be overcome with a mini-softbox setup. To me, the camera is vaguely reminiscent of the old Rollei 35 mini cameras, both in size and capabilities.
Overall, I've been quite pleased with the camera's performance and regret that Casio didn't seek to develop this model further.

My two major objections with this camera is the specialized USB cord required (I have never seen a similar connector), and the lack of an external flash connector, which would greatly expand this camera's functionality. Sunpak makes a flash grip that works well with the camera but sort of defeats the camera's greatest feature — it's portability.
