Pentax Optio S10 review

Surprisingly good feature set compared to other small cameras. Allows a very wide set of choices for customization. Burst mode can be set in memory. This is a wonderful capability that I have only seen in Sony T100 series and up. Color and image quality vastly better than Sony and only equaled by Canon. Soft flash feature very helpful for "club" photography. Takes DIVX movies. Good low light capability. All in all, a very worthy competitor to the Canon SD750 I also have, and betters it in several ways. Strangely, you can only buy this camera at Walmart...

Problems:

White blance is outstanding, although indoors under incandescent you have to use the appropriate WB setting. Movie mode requires that you focus before starting the movie...check the little red dot to make sure you're recording!
