Fujifilm FinePix F31fd review

Highly recommended. The standard by which all point-and-shoot cameras are judged. The high ISO quality has greatly surpassed all other cameras in it's class. The high ISO performance is so good it has been compared to DSLRs here on DPReview in it's camera reviews. Battery life is also second to none in it's class. I've had over 500 shots on a single charge and there was still plenty of "juice" left (even with considerable flash shots).

Has decent manual controls but could be better. Has a usable ISO 1600.

Problems:

Uses slow and proprietary xD memory and no image stabilizer. Flash quality, as with all P&S, is very mediocre. Flash use however, is not needed as often due to the excellent high ISO performance unlike other cameras in it's class.

Worst of all it's not being made anymore and sells for a considerable amount on eBay.
