Canon PowerShot SX10 IS review
Apr 13, 2009

This is my first real camera (all the prior ones have been compact ones), and I have fallen in love with the Canon sx10 IS. Its amazingly easy to use and produces great results. While image is quality is excellent, a little more sharpness to the pictures would be nice.

The high zoom is very good (20x), and produces good results even at the high end of zoom without using a tripod, which is very useful when you want to capture birds or antyhing quickly.

While the overall construction is excellent, a string attached lensed cap is a must. Without it, its very stressful to always remember where you put the cap.

The in-built flash is weak, not even as powerful as the ones in compact cameras.

Overall, an excellent camera, one I am very satisfied with and having lot of fun.

Problems:

The in-built flash is weak, not even as powerful as the ones in compact cameras.
