Nikon D300S review
Solid and reassuring. Fast as lightening, decent buffer capacity and the 7fps has captured things for me my D90 missed. As with my D90 I used the video to check it worked when i opened the box, never touched it since. I have a HD video cam if i want video, which is not often. This complements my D90 perfectly. Love the setting banks for the custom setting and shooting settings, the extra configurable buttons, the 9 frame bracket limit and extended Active D bracket sequence. Brk burst is also an excellent feature. Some camera manufacturers seem to woo customers with pure head line features, megapixels, or less often, frame rate, Nikon seems to fill the cameras with useful features which is what a photographer needs or at least benefits from.
Noise in the dark areas of images shot even at low ISO, and fast shutter, generally noisier at high ISO and long exposures anyway.
