In any case, I have the same lens. I use a Fotasy Nikon(G) adapter. The G part just means that it has an aperture ring and pin for the G lenses that don't have their own rings.
If your adapter has an Open/Close or Open/Lock ring, make sure it's set to Open before mounting the lens. Remember that Nikon lenses turn counter-clockwise when mounting, while most other lenses, include E-mount, turn clockwise. The lens should turn CCW very easily on the mount until it clicks into place.
On my adapter there's a red alignment dot, but there isn't any dot on the lens... the best I can say there is that, when mounting the lens, the red dot lines up with the AI-S tab when the aperture is set to F11.

Nex-7 with kit lenses, Contax G 35, and a number of legacy lenses (mostly Canon FD)
Which one should i take then?
(I bought this one)
Looks like I should get the 2nd one?
