Well, that's a scary thought! The amount of glass becomes more of a dominant factor in the full-frame lenses, I'd think, since it increases with the cube of the diameter, and the amount of coatings with the square of the diameter. The glass in the CX 1.2 will be less than that in the full-frame 1.8, which is relatively inexpensive. At the smaller CX size, the technical difficulty may account for more of the cost. Maybe. Hopefully.

that's true. Plus there is no focus ring.

In my country the 18.5/1.8 costs only very slightly less than 35/1.8 and 50/1.8 af-s. 85/1.4 G costs  8x more. Lets just hope this math doesn't work..  the price is set by suply/demand anyway.
