If I ever went back again I'd want the tele for shooting images of their smoking volcanoes since you cannot get very close to them.  Think I'd leave the fixed lens at home.

If your mission is in Guatemala city I think the 10-22 will be of little use.  The city is so crowded and busy you need to shoot images with isolated content.

Just my $.02.  I was there in 1976 on a mission to help rebuild after their earthquake.  I brought my 35mm Minolta and 100' roll of bw film.  Had a 50mm and a teleconverter.  I was a poor college student at the time.
