Tamron makes a 28-105 f/2.8

The 28-75 f/2.8 has a focal length range of 45-120mm on APS-C which many consider very limited. It really is a lens designed for full-frame as are many lenses in this category (wide-to-tele, e.g. 24-70, 24-105, 28-135, etc.).

But if that is what you want, Tamron also makes a 28-105 f/2.8 for FF which covers a wider range (and at the long end 105mm and 120mm have very little difference); or you can get the Canon 24-105 f/4 IS.
