I struggle in my own work with shot where I'm looking 'down' on wildlife. In my case, it's usually small mammals and water fowl. A few of your images exhibit the downward camera tilt that I struggle with, and that could be leading to some of the critiques others have posted. One of my recent shoots had the exact opposite issue - the eagle was too high.

Personally, I would still shoot the eagles regardless of perspective. I don't see enough of them where I live to pass an opportunity like you had up. All in all, I like your series., and think you came away with some good shots.
