best quality/value UWA prime, new or used?

Take the Tokina 12-24 (versatility) or Tokina 11-16 (sharpness). None of the available UWA prime lenses is worth the money on a DX sensor.

I have compared the Tokina ($300) and the Zeiss 15 2.8 ($3.000) on my D3100. Yes, there is a difference in corner sharpness. But only worth to invest if you earn money with your images....
