A77 - why does focus magnification NOT work in RAW mode?

I would have most likely done a reset anyways, so not being duped.  Just some standard best practices I follow based on what I do on my home PCs and on certain hardware at work anytime a core system receives a firmware update (ie motherboards, phones, etc.).

While not always necessary, it is usually good "preventative" maintenance.  Just with my motherboards, I am better at remembering to right down my settings before updating.  I was in a bit of a rush when I updated my A77 firmware and it slipped my mind to flip a few of my settings back.  It was no biggie, took maybe one or two minutes of my time at most.
