u know your arm's length well ,right ?

use your left hand (your thumb will be close to the shutter button)
to hold the camera and stretch out pointing to yourself
of course your left arm should curl a bit towards u ,oitherwise,
part of the arm will be included

It is assumed that u have set the focus = or a bit shorter than your arm's length

This method is good for wide angle and standard lens

==> But I suggest u get a 5r,which has a 180 degree flip monitor + peaking
        then,adjusting your arm's length = taking manual focus

(I have not owned any Nex)
