Does Pany 20mm f1.7 still have problems on OMD?

I've read the popular but old Pany 20mm f1.7 has some issues on the OMD EM5, i.e. slow AF, banding, and some other IQ concerns.

Before I ignore this lens, I want to be sure that is still the case, and not something that was fixed in a firmware update.

If that is the case, then I'll go with Oly 17mm f1.8 or 17mm f2.8. Not decided between them yet. The f2.8 is smaller and much cheaper, and mainly I wanted a small walk-around lens to make the OMD jacket pocket sized.
