Please explain this one ...?

Aside from being different mounts, they are also at different distance from the sensor .... ???

So, the E-mount flange distance is 18mm, the A-mount flange distance is 44.50mm.

If no adapter is to be used, the sensor has to move by 24mm???

Anyone wants to make a guess what to expect here?

Wouldn't an LA-EA4 solution be preferable (with PDAF)?
