Well....I am no pro wedding photographer but I have shot 6 weddings (6 too many IMO). I would never shoot a wedding without at LEAST 2 bodies and 2 lenses (with 2 flashes). As an example a 24-70 2.8 and a 70-200 2.8 would have you covered...albeit with a lot of weight to carry.
The last wedding I shot with a Xpro1 +35mm 1.4 and two 5D2's. It was a lot to carry so I had an assistant.
Shooting someone's important day is stressful enough if you have gear to choose from....shooting a wedding with just one wide angle is suicide.
