May I suggest that the Panasonic FZ200 with its constant f2.8 lens has a lot of advantages. Yes, it is only a    25-600mm zoom but  that 3 or 4 stop advantage over the other cameras means higher shutter speeds at maximum zoom,  less need for higher ISO and probably less noise and far sharper pictures.

Your advice be will greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am planning to buy a bridge camera. Should I wait for the upcoming Sony Cybershot HX300 or buy the Canon SX50 ?
