How many shoot primarily in Aperture Priority Mode?

I find it easier to think in terms of aperture: it determines how much light you "let in", and it determines DOF, as well as the "sweet spot" of optimal lens performance.

Thus, I usually set my desired aperture -- say f/8 for general purpose, f/11 or f/16 if I want deep DOF, then check the shutter speed again. If the shutter speed will be within the range that will produce sharp images, then everything is fine.

If the shutter speed is too low, then I can either open up the aperture or change the ISO.
