What is the maximum ISO you're comfortable shooting (and what camera)?

It depends

I typically shoot my D90 at base ISO (200), but was wondering what most people actually shoot at regularly with the newer bodies. I will typically set auto ISO up to 800 but no more for action photography.

It depends upon what I am trying to do with the camera. However I have found that, when taking "touristy" photos inside shops and museums, where light may be difficult to find, I can shoot well up into the 10,000-16,000 range with my 5D3. In fact I have some ISO 16,000 shots that don't look noisy to me at all.

I am not suggesting that there is not noise in the image, but, with Noise Ninja 3.0 (part of PhotoNinja) the images still look great. Here is one example (taken at 16,000). There is clearly some noise, but consider the ISO being used.
