interesting fuji lens compared to nex

i see people complain about the small nex lens apertures on the zooms and primes.  fuji is making an f/3.5-4.8 55-200 zoom now.  the nex version starts at f/4.5 and goes up to f/6.3 - so do all the 18-200s.  there is a size difference but not much for these bigger lenses.  it is not like you are going to put them in a shirt pocket.  why do so many nex lenses have small apertures?   don't people want large apertures for these great cameras, or is sony only targeting the p&s crowd?
