Nikon 28/1.8 or Sigma 35/1.4?

Personally I had a 28mm f1.4, 50mm f1.8G and a Sigma 85mm f1.4. I found the 50 was often too long, particularly indoors, but 28mm showed the wide angle effect in some shots. I sold the 28 to buy the Nikon 35mm f1.4 and since then I've stopped using the 50. 35mm f1.4 and 85mm f1.4 is a very good two lens kit.

+1 to this; if you need 28 then you need 28, otherwise the sigma is a phenomenal lens.

+2 to the above.. I already have the 28mm f1.8G and love it, partly because I love the focal length.. I'm still considering adding the Sigma 35mm f1.4 which would be my first f1.4 ..
