DP review is also very slow with reviewing m4/3. I think that is the main cause

LOL. I think it's a chicken-egg problem. I remember a few years ago when Olympus disbanded Olympus America (marketing). This was happening even before m4/3.

OTH Americans like it big, so it might not only be poor distribution.

OTH Asians seem to be driving the success of the Phablet phones. Larger phones are gaining in popularity in the US, but I still see many more iPhones than large Android phones here in NYC. In fact, the NYPD blamed the slight rise in robberies last year on thefts of iPhones. The iPad Mini and MacBook Air are also selling extremely well.

Also, expect Asia to dictate the taste in cameras. Women, especially.

I doubt it. Currently, the 5 best selling cameras in Japan are black Nikon and Canon dSLRs. http://bcnranking.jp/category/subcategory_0008.html

Not a macho world anymore, so perhaps American males take revenge

I wish you were right, but we still live in a world that is dominated by aggressive males.

Am.
