Think of hiding in a blind all day, week, or month waiting for that special moment, when it happens a cougar runs in front of you and pounces on a deer, but your buffer was full so you only got the 6 shots of the initial chase, while you madly press the shutter hoping for a shot, it kills the deer and runs off into the bush giving you one shot of its backside. I can think of a hundred scenarios similar to this, peregrine taking a sandpiper, owl on a mouse you get my point 6 shot buffer means missed opportunities that don't come easy or often, I spend far too many hours in pursuit of a shot to be limited by my gear, especially when my current 5 year old camera doesn't have this limitation.
