I start my D90 at base ISO of 200 and shoot 99% in manual . My brain is now wired that I could not see ever getting away from front & rear wheel adjustments. I increase my ISO based on need, type of picture or type of effect that I want. If I just want to get the shot I would increase ISO to where it takes me to get the shot than try to fix in PP, photoshop, lightroom, topaz, etc. Last resort I try B&W than X for delete.

I know that our D90's are limited and upgrading will get to lower ISO, but will hold off till May.
