Nikon releases their new GXR 28mm APSC

Except instead of being able to swap the body/back off and onto a different module, you have the "lensor" all-in-one.

(I really, really, really, really, really want to see all the "lensor" people coming out of the woodwork to mercilessly lambast the new Coolpix A about throwing the lens away when the sensor becomes outdated ike they constantly do to the GXR camera modules.)

And it's 16MP. That's about the big difference apart from f2.8.

It's a few mm smaller in every dimension than the GXR, so this is a good example of what those fancifully wishing for APSC in a new GRD V can expect - nearly as big as the GXR (eg the GXR A12 28mm) and not small at all like the GRD.

PS. Interestingly, they've also upped the sensor size in their new compact from 1/2.3 to 1/1.7 which begs the question what will they put in their next enthusiast compact P7100 successor then? I'm guessing exactly what we'll also see in the GRD - a 1" sensor.
