On APS-C, I like the focal length of 24mm (general walk around) and 50mm (portraint) when I trevel.  For the Nex 5N, I have this 24/28 and 50/55 combination for Pentax K, Takumar, Canon FD, Nikon Ais, Konica AR and Yashica ML.  I find them roughly equal and I just pick one set for a trip as the fancy strike me with an appropriate adaptor.  Since it is so small, I also take along a Sony E 16f2.8 which luckily I have a good copy for wider angle shoots.  I like manual focusing Primes but not zooms (MF and AF).  I like primes for their size and weight.

The use of legacy lenses have given me a lot of pleasure and a lot of comments from folks.
