The sRGB/Adobe setting only affects JPEG files output by the camera. It does not affect the RAW data in the X3F file. You must separate, in your mind,the X3F output files from all those color, sharpness, saturation, etc in-camera JPEG settings - they have no effect on your RAW data at all.

Hi Ted,

Yes I know, but I'm trying to see if the problem lies with the colour management on the laptop, which is what I'm suspecting. Just wanted to make sure it had nothing to do with how it was interpreting the colour profile embedded in the file.
