I am an enthusiast who likes to experiment with different cameras and formats. I had a chance to shoot MF film (4x5 specifically) when I was in school, but have not had access to the equipment or a lab since then.

I would like to know where a could place to start would be. I don't mind shooting film if there is a photo lab which processes it well, or as long as I am able to process the film myself (does anyone know of a lab in the NYC area?)

I am not anywhere near NYC, but I would probably head on over to B&H and talk to them.

B&H only sells film now, they don't process film anymore to my knowledge. I haven't been there in a while, might be worth a look when I have some down time.
