Copy and transfer Mac OS and software to new Mac Book Air
Mar 3, 2013

I have a MacBook Air (Feb 2011) which is damaged during an accident. It still works and I have access to all folders and files. I also have a system back up on an external HDD. I also have a Mac Pro 3, my main work station. Most important software like CS6 and a number of plugins are copied from the Mac Pro to the MacBook Air. If I purchase a new MacBook Air can I simply transfer the back up from the HDD on to the new MacBook Air, using Super Duper? Or do I have to re-purchase all registered software again?

Thanks a lot for your advice.
