Lighting a small group, looking for different setup
Mar 3, 2013

Shooting groups of 4 or 5 people.  I get very good results using a 5' Octobox as a single light.  If I set it back far enough, I can meter a very even light spread across the background.  Works well without shadows, and everyone is nicely lit.

The downside is I have to crank the power on my Einstein since it is 15" back, which means a slower recharge time.    If I could move the light(s) closer, I could lower the power output on the Einsteins. Has anyone had success with a multiple light setup with small groups with everyone evenly lit?     How did you set the lights up?

Thank you!
