Gold was always tough for a Foveon technology imager

Here in the UK all 100W incandescent were taken out from 2010. Supermarkests started stocking those miserable 10W — equivalent to 60W sticks at really cheap prices like 5 for £1. However the equivalence is overrated and it takes a few good hours to achieve like an old diesel engine. Then the prices went sky high.

So... unsurprisingly the "market" is phasing them out and the new fad are either LED (gold price type) or halogen the ones I am using now. 3 years life expectancy half the wattage of an incandescent and we are no longer in the dark. And reasonably priced too.
