1/60th, 60p. Can't seem to get it.

In AF, capturing video, 1080/60p, a57 shutter speed can't be fixed to 1/60th. Aperture can't be manually controlled in AF either. I usually need AF to capture my subjects. The camera is still in the return window timeframe.

If shutter speed is say, 1/250th, or even changing during the video, is the shot always going to be too far from the '180 shutter rule' to expect best quality video?  Should I force shutter speed to change to a multiple of 60, with ev adjustment?  And if so, which way!

Also, does lack of manual control over shutter speed and f stop, mean that the trick of using a ND filter for daylight video, would be pointless while in AF, with this camera?

I can compare AF results to manual focus 1/60 shutter results, and I am working on it though with the return window closing, I am running out of time.

This a57 is an amazing piece of equipment.  I am wondering however if I should be trying a GH2 or GH3, with perhaps an Alpha mount adapter to save some of my lens investment. Or perhaps even going to a camcorder, though I've lost a lot of investment in the past, with camcorders dying shortly after the warranty runs out.
