Portrait C&C very welcomed

I had the opportunity to have someone sit for me to do some portraits for her blog that she wanted. I am somewhat a beginner but have been doing alot of studying and reading as I begin to do some portraits. I am posting a before photo without any retouching as well as an after photo of the retouching that I did in Photoshop CS6.

I would be more then open to suggestions on lighting, posing, retouching.
