Best way/place to judge cameras without editing software.

Using the camera without editing software.

I say this because I have no inclination to edit ooc and please don’t come here to preach about why we should. Please don’t come here to push why I or anyone should use photo editing software as after 3 times in the first 4 posts of a prior post some people just didn’t want to listen.

I don’t give a rats if you do edit ooc and I don’t care. I’m only interested in using the camera for photography. If I wanted  to learn editing I easily could because at work we have a whole office dedicated to editing and printing with whom I am friends with and they would happily teach me.

Thank you for understanding and I was wondering,

Dou you think it possible the get great images ooc without editing today for display on the web like here and Flickr, your computer and be able to print up to 20 inches?

If not do you think we are far away from the day when most people will be happy with images ooc to do the above without being a professional pixel peeper?

Also do you know of any websites other than here where photographers use the camera settings to get the best out of their images?

And do you think it’s possible to get an image like this one ooc only?
