...but at the end of the day?

More, the K-01 getting scored down for some lens glitches indicating poor quality control while the X-E1's crashes and freezes are actually painted as a positive as the usual expected teething problems from working too hard and fast rather than poor quality control.

Ditto autofocus and image control. Both are reviewed to be slow AF yet the Fuji gets a pass while the K-01 gets a fail (and subsequent score/review never updated to reflect the improvements from firmware update), while the K-01 IQ is described as excellent whereas the Fuji can as good as some of its bigger sensor competitors (what, the K-01 you mean?), yet the Fuji receives the overall accolades.

Facetious conclusion - repackage the K01 as a new K-02 exactly as it is without actually changing a single tech spec except to offer it in a slightly slimmer-bodied 'deceased-estaste sale' 70s retro design to turn those 69% bare-passes into 79% gold medals.

Serious conclusion - The real issue is really about having different individuals with their own personal set of standards reviewing different cameras, exactly as in this case, so there is no consistency which makes fair comparisons and scores virtually meaningless and even misleading.
