For me there is nothing wrong with MFT but if I am investing in expensive lens and start building a system. My money would be in the larger sensor NEX

Just the opposite for me.  I have minimal Lens investment in both M43 & NEX.  But "IF" I were to invest Big Money, it would be Micro43 all the way.  Here is why:

- Sony 35mm f/1.8 is disappointing soft @f/1.8, it need to step down to F/2.2 for decent sharpness.  The problem is you lose "ROUND" bokeh highlight as you step down your aperture blades, and takes on a Octagon Bokeh Highlight.  My heart is broken over this, I bought a NEX C3 for Sony 35mm f/1.8, but the performance isn't what a $450 lens should be.  If I have to step down to f/2.2 to get decent sharpness, I might as well just used my $150 Sigma 30mm f/2.8 DN, which is very SHARP @f/2.8.  There is almost no Bokeh difference between F2.2 to F/2.8 to warrant the cost of sony 35mm f/1.8

Where as I'm looking @MFT LENS as better investment

- Panasonic 25mm f/1.4 = is actually sharp @F1.4 without stepping down

- Panasonic 20mm f/1.7 = is also sharp without stepping down

- Olympus 75mm f/1.8 = also sharp without stepping down

- Olympus 45mm f/1.8 = tiny & sharp without stepping down

I agree that Sony has better SENSOR, but for LENS SELECTION and LENS QUALITY, and PRICE. MFT offer better value and performance.

They're both good camera systems. I have 2 m43 cameras including an E-PL1 Like you, my favorite camera. Also a NEX-3 and a new NEX5R. There a few new and very good NEX lenses now so the old arguments are less relevant. I don't like the way Sony did the menu system. So easy to change settings on the E-PL1's supermenu. I'm not going to invest in expensive NEX lenses, especially the huge long ones when I can get m43 lenses practically for free. Example: $100 for the 40-150R (I paid $150.)

I'm with you on this.  I like BIG SENSOR camera on FAST WIDE LENS (18mm ~ 55mm), but once you go beyond 55mm+, NEX lens become LARGE HEAVY BULKY.  For example, the Big Sony 18-200mm OSS.

My dream combo is a Sony RX1 (full frame point/shoot with fixed 35mm f/2).  FF afford me great Subject-to-background isolation @WIDE ANGLE.  then I pare this up with a Panasonic GF7 + Olympus 75mm f/1.8, for subject isolation @TELEPHOTO.

That is all the lens I ever need.
